Mighty Oak has my favorite coffee and it is such a nice cafe as well. I love that they have a window to outside (for when I am ordering with my pup on a walk) and also nice seating inside for when I’m solo. I’ve since moved further away, but I still come back to stock up on mighty oak coffee. Their wood fired beans really are special and worth the trip. My favorites are the house blend, cold brew blend and when it is in season the Magic Hour.

I stopped by Mighty Oak Roasters during a day of exploring Astoria, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we walked in, with the rich aroma of freshly roasted coffee filling the space. I ordered an iced coffee with milk, while my partner chose a cup of tea. We had already eaten elsewhere, so we only came in for drinks, but the quality of the coffee alone made the visit worthwhile. It's clear they take pride in what they serve. What really impressed me was how comfortable the café felt. There's plenty of seating, making it an ideal place to relax, catch up with friends, or spend some time working on a laptop. The exterior is also attractive and inviting, making it easy to spot from the street. If you're looking for a café with excellent coffee, a pleasant atmosphere, and a space where you can comfortably stay for a while, Mighty Oak Roasters is well worth a visit.

Mighty Oak Roasters is one of those coffee shops that's easy to keep coming back to. They roast their own beans in-house, and it definitely shows—the coffee was smooth, flavorful, and easily one of the better cups I've had in Astoria. The shop is spacious with a laid-back vibe, making it a great spot to catch up with friends or get some work done. The baristas were genuinely friendly, and I appreciated the little details, like the self-serve still and sparkling water station. Even the bathroom was spotless, which says a lot about how well they maintain the place. Great coffee, great people, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you're in Astoria and looking for a solid neighborhood coffee spot, Mighty Oak Roasters is definitely worth checking out.

Unique wood-roasted coffee with a great vibe! This was my first time seeing a coffee shop that roasts their beans using wood. Even though it was late afternoon, the place was quite busy, and the interior had a really charming, professional barista vibe. The beans tasted a bit dark/strong-roasted—not exactly my personal preference, but it was still a decent cup of coffee. Definitely worth a visit if you want to try something unique!

Cool coffee cafe. Mighty Oak Roasters is not your typical shop. They care about the earth and practice sustainability. Instead of roasting their beans conventionally with fossil fuel they utilize a wood burning method. So how’s the coffee? It’s damn good! Smooth, not bitter and full of flavor. They also offer tea if you’re not feeling coffee some days. You can also have something to eat with your beverage as they have a variety of baked goods.
